Yoga for Trauma Recovery is an evidence-based intervention for complex trauma and PTSD. Participants do not talk about their mental health histories or experience in the group setting. Open to all levels of yoga experience.
In this course, there are opportunities to observe your internal experience and move in a mindful way:
Make embodied choices to experience agency and empowerment.

In this course you can expect to learn about and practice mindfulness and meditation, grounding, making choices and feeling empowered in your body, emotional and autonomic regulation, distress tolerance, interoception and breath awareness. This is a Trauma Centre Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) practice, an evidence-based intervention for complex trauma and post- traumatic stress. As well as trauma, this course may be helpful for anxiety, low mood and emotional distress. It may be a useful addition to individual psychotherapy.
